Goosetown

This annual event is a fun way to celebrate the end of the school year and our biggest PTA fundraising event!! The block in front of the school is closed to traffic and parent volunteers set up crafts, sports, games and activities. Kids can purchase tickets and then spend their time going to all of the various tables and activities. There is music, a raffle, and food items available for purchase. It's a nice day to connect and have fun!

We’ve added a new event to our calendar! High Five Friday!!

Parents and caregivers—line up along the sidewalk to the entrance of our school and give our kids a smile and high five!! Join us anytime between 8am - 8:50am and see our kids light up as we welcome them with a little extra boost to get them through their day!

UNES Book Fair

Who doesn't love a book fair?? Set up in the school gym, parents and children are welcome to come check out the offerings from our local Bookstore Pickwick Bookstore. Children are given the opportunity to check out the selections during the day with their class and are able to purchase items at school or with their parents during evening hours. The PTA receives a portion of the proceeds.

Trunk or Treat

Come celebrate this annual fall community event! Held in the front of the school, children can arrive in costume and parent volunteers decorate their cars/trunks and kids “trunk or treat.” Expect music or drumming and maybe even a small parade!

Picture Day

Dress your best! Picture Day is a great fall fundraiser for the PTA. Each child receives a class photo, which the PTA provides, and then there are various packages available for purchase through the school’s photographer. Additional details about picture day will be provided by your student’s teacher closer to the date.

Walk or Bike to School Day

We encourage students to walk or bike to school today! For families that live a little further, consider parking near the school and biking or walking the rest of the way. Your kids will be greeted with a table of healthy snacks to choose from and sometimes an activity such as an obstacle course.
